Communications & Digital Manager
& in-house graphic designer

People Know How
2018 - Present

In 2018 I began building People Know How's Communications & Digital department from the ground up, creating their brand, Communications & Digital Strategy, IT systems.

I lead on communications, campaigning & lobbying, marketing, design, digital and IT, and work as an in-house graphic designer and developer, working as part of the Leadership Team and managing the Communications & Digital department and team. This includes leading on strategy - I both led the review process and wrote the organisation’s most recent Strategic Plan.

This includes producing graphic design, web design and development, SEO, UX and UI design, branding, illustration, motion graphics and editorial design. As well as creating and coordinating campaigns, photography, video, social media, content writing, newsletters and events. I also lead our digital transformation, building and implementing a custom CRM, implementing MDMs, an HR platform,SharePoints; and troubleshooting and refurbishing PC, Mac, Android and iPhone.

Communications Assistant

Edinburgh Global, University of Edinburgh 2015 –  2019

At the university I focused on communications and design, creating original graphic design, illustration, editorial design, motion graphics, and presentations for both internal and external communications in the University’s international office. This included creating a new visual identity and illustrative style for the Edinburgh Global department, including animated illustrations.

I also created written content for the website using various CMS, produced photography and video-editing for high-profile events, and managed a photography competition through social media.
